Your busy schedule might prevent you from attending the live auction, but that's okay. You can still win the vehicle by placing a pre-bid from the lot details page. If you're the highest bidder at the time of the live auction, our Bid4U technology will do the work for you, placing bids incrementally until you win or someone out bids you.

Copart Delivery
Copart offers domestic delivery for a multitude of vehicles. Calculate the estimated delivery cost beforehand on lot's details page or contact our customer service.
Pick up your Vehicle
Enjoy 5 business days of complimentary storage while you arrange pick-up. Please check on lot's details page, if self-load is expected for the lot you're coming to pick up. All heavy and medium-duty lots are self-load only.

Verification and Documents
Individuals
Individuals only need to submit a government-issued photo ID to begin bidding. Finnish buyers can submit their Finnish Social Security Number for later electronic strong authentication. Individual buyers can bid and buy everything Copart has to offer, except to be dismantled sale term vehicles. If you need help bidding on a vehicle, contact our customer service.
Businesses
Businesses are required to submit account holder's government-issued photo ID or do the electronic strong authentication with Finnish Social Security Number. In addition, businesses need to upload business licenses/trade registration document.
If you want to buy to be dismantled sale term vehicles, a valid environmental license to handle end-of-life vehicles is required from the buyer and the buyer has to be a member of Suomen Autokierrätys Oy (Finnish Car Recycling Ltd.) take-back points of end-of-life vehicles.

The first step to bidding and buying in Copart’s auctions is to register to be a Copart Member. Registration takes only a few minutes. Enter your contact information, choose your membership and send required documents and submit necessary address. You can also start with a free Guest Membership for searching vehicles before bidding. Upgrade your membership for Basic or Premium to start bidding.
Buying Power is the total amount you can bid on a vehicle based on your Copart Membership type. Basic Members have 30 000 EUR or 3 vehicles at a time. Premium Members have 300 000 EUR or 30 vehicles at a time.
There are two primary methods of bidding in Copart auctions:
Preliminary Bidding
Once the vehicle is listed on Copart’s website, Copart Members can place preliminary bids (‘pre-bids’) on vehicles at any time up to one hour before the start of the live auction. Pre-bids will be represented during the live auction and could be the winning bid if no other bidder submits a higher bid during either the pre-bid phase or the live auction. If there is a tie between pre-bid and live bid amounts, the virtual (live) bidder prevails as the highest bidder on the item.
Live Bidding
Bidders can bid live against other Members during a virtual auction. If a Member’s bid is the highest when the circular, dynamic countdown timer stops, the Member wins the sale of the vehicle (pending sale approval from Seller).
There are several convenient online payment options for you to choose from after winning your vehicle including bank transfer, mobile payment and debit/credit cards. You can order delivery directly from our website or by contacting our customer service from 9-16 on weekdays. If you prefer to pick up your vehicles in person, here are six things to remember:
- Come to pick-up your vehicle during normal business hours from 9am to 4pm.
- If the lot is located in one of our sublots, schedule pick-up by contacting the sublot beforehand.
- Have ready the lot number and Gatepass of the vehicle being picked up.
- Be ready to proof your identity or power of attorney.
- Loading is first-come, first-served.
- Check beforehand is the vehicle marked as self-load.
Copart Finland does not currently offer international delivery options, but we recommend exploring third-party delivery options before bidding on your favorite vehicle. Please note: If you plan to use a third-party delivery service, Copart is not responsible for a vehicle’s condition once it leaves a Copart location.
